Preparing students for AP success!

An AFE grant provided food for thought – a pizza lunch for 25 Albany High students who were new to Advanced Placement classes as they participated in an “AP JumpStart” workshop led by teachers Sean Fitzsimons and Leah Evans to provide them with strategies for success in these rigorous classes.

The workshop covered skills such as self-advocacy, time management, outlining and note-taking. One student wrote in their evaluation “The information provided helped big time… I would love to participate in future sessions.”
